About
I began my running career at Sehome High at the beginning of the school’s current trend of 2A dominance. Luckily for me (or unluckily), my high school contained many runners that were much faster than I was, instilling my drive for constant improvement to make varsity. This drive allowed me to finally make the state team my senior year, where we won the school’s second boys state championship. This drive continued throughout my college years at the University of Washington. During my time at UW I had the goal to walk on to the team, but was never able to do it. However, looking for a team experience like I had in high school, I was able to find Club Northwest during my junior year of college. Since joining, I have been able to represent the club for five years at Club XC Nationals as well as PR in every event I have run. I continue to strive to make more club teams and run faster times.
