Qualified and ran the Boston Marathon in 1987, 1988, 1996, 2007, 2012, 2023

Ran Boston with my husband David Olsho and two daughters, Lauren and Alexis Olsho, in 1996

Ran 101 miles in my first 24-hour race, Pac Rim One Day Run, in 1997

Placed 2nd in the women's division in the 24-hour National Championships at Olander Park in 1999

Placed 2nd in the women's division in the Badwater Ultramarathon in 2000

Placed first overall in the Mother/Daughter competition with my daughter, Alexis Olsho, at the Aflac Iron Girl 10k in 2009 and 2011

Completed the Boston Marathon and the Big Sur Marathon in April 2023

About

I started running in 1982 as part of my campaign to quit smoking. I did quit smoking, and I ran my first marathon in 1983. Since then I've run something like 100 marathons and 80 ultras. Recently I have been concentrating on slowing the decline of my marathon performance!
