Club Northwest Youth Cross Country
The Club Northwest Youth Cross Country Team is for athletes age 5-18 who love to run and are interested in learning more about the sport of cross country, as well as more experienced runners interested in Junior Olympic races post their school XC seasons. Practice times and days are projected to be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4-5 pm but these is flexibility depending upon on availability of the athletes and their school schedules. Practices start September 5 and go through the last race in which we have runners competing. Please contact Deborah Fletcher directly at email@example.com for more information.
HOW TO JOIN
Club Northwest Membership: $30 for an individual youth team membership or $75 for a family membership. Youths already covered under a family membership do not need to pay any additional Club membership fees. Click HERE to join Club Northwest.
See the Club Northwest membership page for additional information on membership benefits, such as other event discounts and store discounts.
Youth Team Practice Fees: $150 for the entire cross country season. Partial season fees are to be determined; please direct inquiries to Deborah Fletcher. Click HERE to sign up for practices. Each member of the team will receive a CNW racing singlet to wear at cross country meets. Athletes and their parents will be responsible for registration and entry fees for each meet entered.
Practices will be held at Woolsey Stadium at King’s High School 19303 Fremont Ave North, Shoreline, WA. If you have never been there, it may be helpful to look at google maps to see where the track is on the campus. Parking will be above the stadium, the first parking lot you encounter as you head toward the track.
Parents are welcome to stick around during practice and get their own workout in at the track or run on the on-campus trail system.
Registration will be online at clubnorthwest.org. Each athlete needs to be a member of Club Northwest, either as an individual youth team member or as part of a family membership. Each athlete will need to have a waiver signed by their parents. Parents working out at the track will also need to sign their own waiver.
